Project Description

We delivered an artificial grass solution for an outdoor gym in Akaa as a subcontractor for Tampereen Viherrakennus Oy.

The area of the project was relatively compact, 44 m², but gym use requires the surface to have extremely high durability and stability due to weights and equipment. Sand-filled artificial grass works excellently as an impact-absorbing and grip-improving installation surface.

General Questions About Artificial Grass Installations

Installation time depends on the size of the site and the extent of the groundworks. Typically, a smaller multipurpose court is completed in a few days, while a full-sized football pitch can take 1–2 weeks.

Installation requires dry weather and at least +5 degrees Celsius for optimal seam gluing. The best installation time is from spring until late autumn.

We grant a comprehensive warranty for installation work and materials, which is usually 5–8 years depending on the manufacturer and the product. Regular maintenance is a prerequisite for the warranty to remain valid.
