Sand-filled artificial grass installation in Kuusamo — 1,600 m² for two multipurpose arenas and a sprint track.

Project Description

A total of 1,600 m² of sand-filled artificial grass was installed for Nilonkangas School in Kuusamo. The turf was installed in two multipurpose arenas, with a sprint track implemented between them.

Boundary lines, a center line, a center circle, and goal boxes were installed for the multipurpose arenas. For the sprint track, running lanes with white borders were installed along with finish and start lines.

The project was commissioned by Europinta Oy.

General Questions About Artificial Grass Installations

Installation time depends on the size of the site and the extent of the groundworks. Typically, a smaller multipurpose court is completed in a few days, while a full-sized football pitch can take 1–2 weeks.

Installation requires dry weather and at least +5 degrees Celsius for optimal seam gluing. The best installation time is from spring until late autumn.

We grant a comprehensive warranty for installation work and materials, which is usually 5–8 years depending on the manufacturer and the product. Regular maintenance is a prerequisite for the warranty to remain valid.
